Trivial Centralizers for Codimension-one Attractors

We show that if Λ is a codimension-one hyperbolic attractor for a Cr diffeomorphism f , where 2 ≤ r ≤ ∞, and f is not Anosov, then there is a neighborhood U of f in Diffr(M) and an open and dense set V of U such that any g ∈ V has a trivial centralizer on the basin of attraction for Λ.

Attractors for a Non-linear Parabolic Equation Modelling Suspension Flows

In this paper we prove the existence of a global attractor with respect to the weak topology of a suitable Banach space for a parabolic scalar differential equation describing a non-Newtonian flow. More precisely, we study a model proposed by Hébraud and Lequeux for concentrated suspensions.

Attractors for gradient flows of non convex functionals and applications

This paper addresses the long-time behaviour of gradient flows of non convex functionals in Hilbert spaces. Exploiting the notion of generalized semiflows by J. M.
